Fishgoo shipping to the UK: a 2 kg price and delivery comparison

Calculator check: 12 October 2026. Destination: United Kingdom; category: Apparel / common goods; packed weight: 2,000 g (2 kg); outer dimensions: 30 × 20 × 15 cm; display currency: USD. These are country-level estimates for one example, without a postcode-specific final parcel quote.

Example Fishgoo UK shipping quotes for a 2 kg parcel
Shipping lineFreight (USD)Working daysContents / delivery notes
UK Duty-Free Special (Lowest Price for General Goods)$23.689–16General goods only; excludes branded and sensitive goods and batteries. Royal Mail delivery.
UK Shoes & Bags Special Line (Actual Weight)$25.609–14Actual-weight charging; includes clothing, shoes and bags. Useful to compare for bulky packing.
UK Apparel Express Line$31.766–11General / branded clothing, shoes and bags; excludes sensitive goods. Royal Mail delivery.
UK Direct Flight Express (Overtime Compensation)$38.405–10DPD delivery; its description starts transit timing on the day after shipment.

Freight figures are the amounts displayed by the Fishgoo shipping calculator, not item prices or a guaranteed delivered total. Timing is the line’s estimate, excluding purchasing and warehouse preparation. Tax-related words above identify the provider’s route names; check coverage, exclusions and destination charges in the final terms. Recalculate for your actual category, address, measurements and packing before paying.

The $23.68 general-goods quote excludes branded goods, batteries and sensitive contents. For a branded clothing haul, compare a line that explicitly accepts that category and run the calculator again using the correct category. The actual-weight shoes-and-bags line is worth comparing when boxes make a parcel bulky, subject to its size limits and packing terms.

The UK sea-freight options in this check required at least 5,000 g and displayed a warning for the 2,000 g input. They were excluded. Compare the full permitted parcel, not a price shown beside an ineligible result. The USD amounts above are the calculator display currency; do not treat them as GBP or convert using the spreadsheet’s separate product-price reference rate.

Royal Mail and DPD: what the UK delivery estimate means

The sampled general-goods and apparel lines describe Royal Mail as the local delivery carrier; the direct-flight line describes DPD. A Royal Mail 48-hour service description refers to its local delivery leg. It does not mean a purchase in China reaches your home in 48 hours: purchasing, warehouse preparation and international transport come first.

Save the international tracking number and any local reference added after handover. When the carrier first shows a label or electronic notice, check whether it has physically received the parcel. For the sampled direct-flight line, the description starts its 5–10-working-day reference on the day after shipment. Other lines need their own starting event checked.

Begin with the actual UK delivery address

Use the full recipient name, building number or name, street, flat information where needed and postcode. Keep the postcode unchanged when comparing routes so the quotes refer to the same delivery area. If the route asks for a contact number, use one that can receive a delivery or clearance message.

Check the relevant destination within the UK rather than treating every UK address as interchangeable. Great Britain and Northern Ireland can have different import arrangements. Remote-area or delivery limitations also depend on the selected service, so verify that the live route serves the address before paying for dispatch.

Keep the item price and the UK parcel budget separate

The approximate USD product values shown in this directory do not establish the amount you will pay in pounds. Confirm the live selected item price and payment conversion. Add domestic shipping, applicable processing costs, optional services, international freight and any destination charges as separate budget lines.

When comparing a cheaper item with a more expensive alternative, keep their packing requirements in view. A large retail box or extra protection can affect the parcel even if the item itself is light. Use the Fishgoo shipping cost guide to distinguish actual weight from any dimensional charging basis.

Make consolidation and box removal deliberate choices

For a sneaker haul, compare the final packed quote with and without original shoe boxes if both options are available. Keep boxes when their protection or presentation matters to you. Do not authorise blanket packaging removal for fragile or structured items without checking how they will be protected.

Combining orders from different sellers can reduce duplicated outer packaging, but the resulting carton can also be larger or enter another weight band. Compare full eligible quotes. If an item requires a special route, check whether it changes the options for the entire parcel before combining it with clothing.

Review each item’s QC while it is still within the relevant return window. Waiting for all sellers to finish dispatching can use up that time. The warehouse guide explains how storage and after-sales deadlines differ.

Does a UK parcel under £135 avoid VAT and duty?

For non-excise purchases sent to Great Britain, GOV.UK’s current tax and duty guidance distinguishes VAT from customs duty. Goods worth £135 or less generally have no customs duty, but that does not make a purchase VAT-free. VAT is normally included at purchase for those goods. Above £135, VAT is collected through delivery, and any customs duty rate depends on the goods and origin. Northern Ireland has separate arrangements.

When VAT is collected by the delivery company, its calculation includes goods, postage, packaging, insurance and applicable duty. Do not treat a shipping line’s tax-related name as evidence that every cost has been paid. Ask which charges are prepaid under your route terms and keep the invoice and payment record.

Declare the actual purchase accurately. If a carrier requests payment, match the notice to your tracking number and use its recognised payment process.

Confirm restrictions before choosing a UK shipping line

A clothing-only parcel can have different shipping options from one with perfume, batteries or other special contents. Read the product specifications and disclose the relevant characteristic in an eligibility enquiry. An electronics label alone does not tell the service whether a battery is installed or packed separately.

Check the exact route, destination and quantity. A previous successful shipment is not proof that the same product is accepted on every route today. If an item is flagged at the warehouse, resolve it before parcel payment. The restricted item guide provides a list of useful details to send support.

Interpret UK delivery estimates stage by stage

The total order journey includes purchasing, seller dispatch, domestic delivery, warehouse review, packing and international transport. The delivery reference for a UK route does not cover all those earlier stages. Confirm whether the displayed estimate uses business days and what scan or event begins that estimate.

If you need an item by a particular date, allow room for an extra warehouse measurement or a seller delay. Once the parcel is submitted, check whether an item decision, packing instruction or payment is still pending before interpreting the lack of international movement as a carrier delay.

Keep parcel records until delivery is resolved

Save the selected route, packed measurements, shipping payment and tracking number. Follow the named carrier and any local delivery record. If a notice requests information or payment, verify it against the parcel before responding and retain the result with your order record.

Inspect the exterior and contents when the parcel arrives. For visible damage or a missing item, keep the box, label and protective material, take clear photographs and ask about the route’s support or claims process promptly. Do not discard the packaging while a claim question is unresolved.

Use the previous parcel’s actual measurements and costs as a reference for a similar future order, while checking the new live quote. For your next shortlist, begin with the Fishgoo buying guide and QC inspection checklist.

Common questions

How much is Fishgoo shipping to the UK?

The dated 2 kg example above displayed $23.68 for its general-goods line and $31.76 for the apparel express line. These are USD freight estimates for the stated inputs. Recalculate with the correct category and confirm the packed quote and postcode coverage.

Are the USD spreadsheet prices the price I will pay in GBP?

No. They are saved approximate item references. Check the payment amount and conversion for your selected option.

Does a UK route guarantee there are no import charges?

Do not infer that from a route name. Read its inclusions and check current GOV.UK guidance for your shipment.

How long does a Fishgoo UK parcel take?

The sampled UK lines above quoted 5–10 to 9–16 working days. These estimates concern shipping, not the entire purchase journey. A Royal Mail 48-hour local service does not include transport from China.
