Fishgoo Returns & Refunds — Deadlines, Costs & Stages

Identify the order stage and return deadline, submit evidence for the actual issue, and track the return shipment separately from the refund. This guide explains the process and costs to confirm.

How long does a Fishgoo refund take?

The refund stage depends on whether purchasing has started and whether the seller already has to receive a return. The current policy provides the following processing references; they are not a promise of when money will reach a bank or card. Order refunds credit Fishgoo balance, while withdrawal is a separate process.

Fishgoo refund references by order status
Order situationPolicy processing referenceWhat to follow
Payment in Progress / Paid, before purchasingImmediate order refund.Cancellation result and account balance record.
Purchasing in ProgressWithin 24 hours.Whether the purchase could still be cancelled.
Already purchasedRequest processing within 24 hours; seller refund usually about 1–3 days.Seller cancellation approval and refund credit.
Already shipped and received at the warehouseAbout 7–15 business days, subject to seller acceptance.Return eligibility, seller receipt and refund status.

For the normal eligible five-day warehouse window, an illustrative In Stock time of 12 October at 14:20 gives a next-full-hour start of 15:00; 120 hours later is 17 October at 15:00. Use the deadline on the actual order if it differs, and act well before the last hour. Item condition and seller / marketplace eligibility still apply.

Check where the order is before requesting a return

The next action depends on whether the order is awaiting purchase, travelling to the warehouse, stored, or already shipped internationally. Cancelling an unpaid or unpurchased order is different from returning an item that the seller has dispatched. Open the order record and note its current status before making a request.

If the seller has already shipped, a cancellation message does not stop the domestic parcel automatically. The return instructions explain that a return cannot be processed while the item is in transit. Contact support to record the situation, then monitor warehouse receipt so the eligible request can be submitted promptly.

Understand the five-day warehouse return window

For eligible proxy-purchase orders, the no-reason return instructions describe five days after the item is stored, alongside the marketplace’s delivery-based window. The application section defines this as 120 hours beginning from the next full hour after the In Stock status appears. Check the deadline shown for your own order rather than calculating it from the purchase date.

Review the item immediately when QC appears. The policy describes later after-sales requests as dependent on negotiation with the seller, and a return or refund is not guaranteed outside the normal window. The warehouse storage allowance does not extend that return deadline.

Eligibility also depends on the product and its condition. Retain tags, seals and required packaging, and check special-condition requirements for the category. If you are considering opening a sealed item to inspect it, ask whether that action would affect the return before authorising it.

Submit a factual request with the right evidence

State whether you want a return, exchange or clarification, identify the order number and describe the actual reason. A wrong colour, missing component or visible defect should be documented as that issue. Do not select a seller-fault reason merely to avoid postage when the real reason is a change of mind.

  • Include the listing link and the size, colour or version you ordered.
  • Attach the warehouse image that shows the problem clearly.
  • For a measurement issue, show the tape position and comparison method.
  • Keep the payment record and any seller description relevant to the issue.
  • Ask what will happen next and whether you need to preserve particular packaging.

For a disputed quality or authenticity concern, photographs may help describe the issue but may not settle it. Ask which further evidence is required. Technical assessment can involve a separate process and cost; a basic warehouse inspection should not be treated as a professional appraisal.

Check domestic return postage and deductions

A no-reason return can involve both the original domestic shipping cost and return shipping when no quality issue is confirmed. A confirmed seller quality issue can be handled differently. Ask for the cost allocation before approving the return, including any seller deduction and whether a replacement order will incur new domestic shipping.

Free shipping on the original listing does not necessarily make the return free. The seller may have paid that delivery cost initially and seek it back for a no-reason return. Likewise, an advertised shipping insurance feature is not a promise that a claim will reimburse your return. Use the amount confirmed for your actual order.

Questions to resolve before sending an item back
QuestionWhy it matters
Has the seller accepted this return or exchange?A submitted request alone is not approval.
Who pays original and return domestic postage? These costs can reduce the amount recovered.
Which tags, seals and boxes must stay intact?Missing required packaging can affect eligibility.
Will an exchange create a new order and waiting period?A replacement changes your parcel and storage plan.

Track the return shipment and refund as separate steps

Keep the return request, seller approval, domestic return tracking and refund transaction together. Once an item is sent back, the seller may still need to receive and accept it before the refund is completed. Follow the status rather than assuming that return dispatch means the money is already available.

The refund process credits the Fishgoo account balance. Check the credited amount against the item payment and confirmed deductions. If you want the money withdrawn rather than used for a new order, check the current withdrawal process separately. The payment and balance guide explains why an account refund and repayment to a card or wallet are different transactions.

If the expected stage does not update, contact support with the order number and latest evidence. Ask which step is outstanding: seller approval, receipt, refund processing or withdrawal. That question is easier to resolve than a request that treats all four as one missing payment.

Reduce avoidable return problems on the next order

Check size measurements before buying, save the exact option and review QC as soon as the item enters storage. Keep items with unresolved questions out of your parcel. International returns can involve a different route and cost, so the warehouse stage is the useful point to clarify a visible mismatch.

Use the current return and exchange rules for the order-specific deadline and conditions. After resolving the request, update your warehouse shortlist so a returned item is not accidentally selected for shipping and a replacement is not overlooked.

Common questions

Can I return an item after five days in the warehouse?

A later after-sales request may require negotiation with the seller and is not guaranteed. Check the order conditions and contact support promptly.

Who pays for a no-reason return?

When no quality issue is confirmed, the customer can be responsible for original and return domestic postage. Confirm the applicable costs before proceeding.

Does a Fishgoo refund go to my balance?

The described order refund process credits the Fishgoo account balance. Withdrawal is a separate process.

Can I start a normal return while the seller parcel is in transit?

The instructions state that returns cannot be processed during transit. Record the issue with support and monitor warehouse receipt.
